"PARE's wetland services are exemplary. WRWC contracted with PARE to develop a wetland restoration study, and not only was the study thorough and completed in a timely manner, but PARE was more than willing to help us develop proposals to implement several of the restoration options. We thoroughly enjoyed the process with PARE's friendly and responsive staff." Alicia Lehrer, Executive DirectorWoonasquatucket River Watershed CouncilProvidence, RI

Gymnasium wing of the new Norwood High School, Norwood, MA
The new recently-opened $68.6 million Norwood High School is the first school facility built under Massachusetts' cost-saving “Model School Program" which incorporates successful design elements from existing schools into the design of new facilities. Rather than “reinventing the wheel” for each new school project, the use of an existing “model” simplifies the design process, reduces the amount of time it takes to build a new facility by at least one year, and utilizes design dynamics that have already been deemed successful by students, teachers, and administrators.
Pare Corporation was the civil engineer for this new high school project. In addition to site and drainage design, PARE also provided traffic and roadway engineering, geotechnical engineering, soil remediation, athletic field design, and construction-phase services. PARE worked closely with Ai3 Architects throughout the project from planning to ribbon-cutting.

Emerging Professionals Pass Engineering Exams
PARE is a multi-generational workplace; our technical staff of over 50 personnel has experience ranging from 40 years to a few months. Career (and knowledge) advancement through hands-on field work, mentoring, continuing education, and professional certification has always been the core component of PARE’s staff development. We are pleased to announce that several of our younger employees passed either the Professional Engineering Exam or the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in 2011.
