Pare Corporation was selected to provide structural engineering for a design/build project to construct a 1,500-ton-per-day construction and demolition (C&D) recycling facility.  The 91,000-sf pre-engineered metal structure consists of a 475’ x 220’ main building with an attached two-story office building and an attached train shed for receiving materials transported to the site by rail.

Pare designed the foundation for the pre-engineered building, the structural slab, push walls, concrete bin walls, and equipment foundations.  To provide a cost-effective structure, numerous building-frame foundations were designed for the different frame geometries found throughout the building’s layout.

Pare also provided construction observation of the structural components of the building.
