Pare Corporation was part of the design team which provided design, construction documents, and construction-phase services for the new synthetic turf multi-use field, track, and natural turf fields associated with the new Norwood High School. Pare’s effort consisted of field design including geotechnical investigations, drainage, and utilities layout; cut and fill analysis; field grading; permitting; and construction services. 

The synthetic field and track facilities were coordinated with the Town and the high school athletic department to evaluate the multiple uses for the field, capacity of the bleachers, and site-specific design elements such as the logo and lines for the associated sports. The new underground drainage system was permitted with MADEP through the Underground Injection Control permit program.  Pare also subcontracted with an irrigation consultant to design a cooling system for the synthetic field.
