Emergency Action Plans / Emergency Response

All state dam safety offices in New England require that dams classified as High Hazard Potential or Significant Hazard Potential have an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) which shall be updated annually. An EAP is a formal document that identifies potential emergency conditions at a dam and specifies pre-planned actions to be followed in an emergency to minimize property damage and loss of life. Pare assists dam owners in meeting these emergency preparedness regulations and is knowledgeable of the requirements in each state. Pare develops all aspects of the EAPs in-house, submits the finalized plans for approval, trains local officials on the contents and use of the Plan, and provides updates on an annual basis.
