Overview

Pare participated in the master planning, land use approvals, preliminary and final design, and construction-phase services for a new residential retirement facility consisting of 268 independent living units, 60 skilled nursing beds, 36 assisted living beds, a wellness center, a commons area, natatorium, and an auditorium.

Pare provided preliminary services directly to the developer. This required close coordination with the other project professionals, including the project architects, landscape architects, and legal consul. The services included engaging and tasking the project surveyor and soil scientist; analysis of the receiving sanitary sewer and pump station; developing conceptual site layouts in conjunction with the project architect; preparing cost estimates; assisting the project attorney with addressing zoning issues and regulation changes; and preparing and presenting plans to the land-use commissioners. Pare then worked with the architect on the final design and construction phases of the project.
