Pare Corporation was part of the Design/Build team responsible for the design and construction of a new parts warehouse and associated site improvements for North Atlantic Distribution, Inc.’s automobile import facility in the Quonset Business Park. NORAD is one of the largest auto importers in North America, serving as a port of entry, processing center, and distribution hub for imported and domestic vehicles. The 100′ x 300′ structure includes warehouse and office space. Pare provided civil engineering services, which included building location and dimension alternatives with respect to site constraints, grading, stormwater management design, and utility design.

Pare coordinated and prepared an Application for State Assent for review by the RI Coastal Resources Management Council and a Groundwater Discharge Permit Application for the RI Department of Environmental Management. Pare also prepared registration material for an aboveground fuel storage tank, and was also contracted through the construction process, providing services such as submittal review, field inspection, and on-call consultation for issues arising during construction.
