Pare Corporation was the design team project manager responsible for the planning and development of a new 175,000-SF Central Operations Facility for the Providence Water Supply Board. The project was a redevelopment of an existing 16-acre site and 185,000-SF building formerly used as offices for a large banking institution. The new uses include administrative offices, a 45,000-SF indoor parking garage, automotive service and maintenance facility, and warehouse. The Pare team, including architectural and MEP subconsultants, provided major improvements to both the site and building including a new site entrance and guard shack, new roadways, storm drainage improvements, building facade upgrade, and the addition of numerous new windows and skylights. Energy initiatives included a major solar panel array on the roof and all new LED lighting.
