Overview

Pare Corporation, as part of a multi-discipline team, provided engineering services to the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office for the construction of a new Customer Service Center. The new facility is conveniently located near the center of the state and close to several other state facilities at the state-owned Pastore Complex.

The building includes customer service areas, employee offices, conference rooms, administrative spaces, secure holding areas, and a basement for future expansion. The associated site improvements include an employee parking lot with 40 spaces, a visitor’s parking lot with 80 spaces, site utilities, stormwater management systems, and accessible walkways.

Pare’s services included the overall site planning and parking layout design; water and sewer engineering design; stormwater management systems design; traffic impact analysis; and RIDOT and RIDEM permitting. Pare prepared civil-related documentation for submission to the U.S. Green Building Council and the project received LEED Gold Certification.

Pare also provided construction-phase services.
