PARE engineers utilize state-of-the-art investigation, testing, and analyses to address a broad range of geotechnical issues. We have successfully completed a variety of geotechnical engineering projects, ranging in size and complexity from subsurface investigations for simple foundations to the design of a 1,500,000-cubic yard earth containment structure to create a new port facility.
Geotechnical investigations and design services are provided for building foundations, bridge piers and abutments, retaining walls, braced excavations, underground pump stations, tanks, and specialty structures. Our broad geotechnical expertise extends to dredging projects, waterfront improvements, site feasibility studies, and hazardous waste site assessments and remediation.
We also apply our geotechnical and analytical capabilities to the study and design of dams and related hydraulic structures. In the past decade, PARE has performed inspection, study, design, or construction services for more than 400 dams located throughout New England.
